Founded in electronics and technology
Dr. Mohamed Bousmah, PhD, established the family’s first business in 1992, in electronics and technology. The Group dates its history from that venture. Most of the companies in the current portfolio were established later.

Expansion of the portfolio
Managing Partner Achraf Bousmah, MSc, builds, owns and leads the Group’s operating companies. They include RISE Operations, which employs more than 150 W2 employees in Midland–Odessa, as well as businesses in software, AI, insurance and real estate.

Academic research in AI
Dr. Bousmah is a professor of information technology and an AI researcher. His work covers human–AI systems, educational technology and software engineering, and includes the research framework behind LLMography.
